ISCLP   1       ANTOINE BERJEAUT        MOVING CITIES                   LP      12.2019

First collaboration between French trumpet player Antoine Berjeaut and Chicago-based
drummer MVP Makaya McCraven, along with a cast including bassist Junius Paul and
saxophonist Julien Lourau. A mix of writing and improvisation, where Berjeaut remixed,
sampled and recomposed a vivid score, blending contemporary jazz, electronic music
and post-rock. Bridging the spaces between the Paris and Chicago scenes, 'Moving
Cities' brings together the best of both worlds and is emblematic of a new, utterly
modern jazz going through a true aesthetic revolution.
